Can you recommend me an ultra slim and stylish Canon digital camera?

   If you’re looking for ultra-slim and sylish, check out the Canon SD1000 or its current successor, the Canon SD1100 IS. Both are really slim and produce amazingly sharp pictures. The SD1100 IS retails for $175 on Amazon.

   As for taking pictures underwater, you’ll have to buy separate underwater casing. There are no cameras that automatically adapt to water exposure.

   I know you want a Canon, but the Olympus 850 SW is one of the only digital cameras that challenges the seemingly absurd notion of water and electronics without using a housing. You can also make movies with it. It is extremely fun to use and can be had for under $250.

   It is also the ideal camera for a trip to the great outdoors since the airtight design makes the camera resistant to dust, dirt and other particles.
