bose or any other in ear headphone can damage your ears if you play them loud enough but if you are willing to shell out a bit of money and want a good pair of in ear headphones I would suggest shure headphones:
if you want a cheaper pair that is still good check out these:
the human ear can hear sounds from 20 to 20000hz (20-20khz). so any headphone which can operate within this range will basically give very good sound. you cant hear anything outside this range but the ads say this extra adds ” presence”. its mostly hype because we don’t have the same hearing range of bats or any other animal. Anything short of this range (which happens often because manufacturers have difficulty achieving the 20hz frequency. This is the bass range. Most of the cheaper units start off from 40hz) cuts down on th listening experience.
hearing damage is cumulative. so using any headphones or even listening to sounds approaching the level of jack hammers will cause damage after a certain period. lowering the level a little simply prolongs the time when the damage comes in. I know its difficult (especially when you’re listening to a favorite song) but its always best to do this in moderation. so if the song is not really your favorite, cut back on the volume (or give your ears a rest) and reserve the louder levels for your favorites. try not to sleep with the headphones on.
Bose makes very good phones and speakers. I’d get one if I had money to burn.
enjoy your music
I got bose for 3 days and yes sound is great but they don’t seem to fit in my ear that well so they are not comfortable for me. I would trade em for skull candy full metal jacket or titan headphones any day because they are comfortable and cost only 50$ twice as cheap but brake too easily…
Yeah, I suggest anything created by BOSE, because the quality is really good. I personally have BEATS by DR.DRE headphones, which are very similar to BOSE ones. You should google them or check them out at a store because it’s reaaally coool.
There’s a common misconception that anything made by Bose is the best. Sometimes this is true, but their in-ear headphones are awful. The fit is terrible. You’ll have to sit perfectly still while using them, and you can forget exercising with them. On top of that, the sound quality is far worse than other headphones in a similar price range. Try these,
Those are the westone um1’s, which are by far the most comfortable earphones you can find. They won’t fall out of your ear either. To top it off, they have absolute phenomenal sound quality.
By the way, any earphone can cause ear damage. There is no brand that can be guaranteed not to damage your hearing. There is the same risk with all of them. However, by buying a better pair (like the UM1’s), you get more sound isolation, meaning you hear less of what’s going on outside. Because of this, you can listen to your music at lower volume levels, since you won’t be trying to block out outside noise by pumping up your music.
