   I just bought one for myself (and although I am 16 I’m sure it will work for him) and I bought the pokemon Diamond version. boys around that age seem to like that sort of thing. I’ve been playing pokemon games since I was little

   Try getting some Action games that he likes for the DS or get A super card basicly what it is a card that you can download DS games of the Internet and onto the card and fits into the DS but its round $50,00

   Might aswell buy him some Mario games.

   Every kid likes Mario.

   Or Pokemon Diamond or Pearl versions.

   My son is 10 and he loves the mario games (Super Mario DS, The New Super Mario Bros), Pokemon Diamond, and Star Wars.

   cool ur 10 im 10 too i like mario kart ds i also like sims games i also like the legfend of zelda and lots of games sk8ter tony hawk island is fun too of cource pokemon.!!!!

   i suggest all mario games. they r alot of fun and they r good for his age. mario kart DS is a great racing game. and try super mario bros.

   There are Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, I have both! Even though I’m a girl, lol
   there is Mariokart DS That’s fun if he likes racing games.
   He might like Animal Crossing Wild World but I don’t know about that.
   If he like dogs you could get him Nintendogs PS the dalmation version is limited if you do this game get him the dalmation version.
   There are a few Mario games although i don’t remember the names…
   You can look at GBA games too, they fit in DS lite.
   I know, I have 4 DS’s

    Mario games are OK. But they get frustrating and He will probably get angry and give up. I’m 11 years old (i know, kinda young) I like Super Monkey Ball. It is actually also frustrating, but some how I get by.

    P.S, Sometimes the mario games brake. Usually when you open the DS, it says, “It’s Me, Mario!” But My sister had the game and it broke. So it kept saying, “It’s Me, Mario!” even when the DS was closed. It would say it OVER, and OVER again! SO ANNOYING!
